Entertainment accumulation and radius[edit]

Going by the asset creation options, each decoration object has a happiness radius (which is shown in-game) and a happiness value (which isn't). It would be useful to know these numbers for the default park types. This might be as simple as opening the default assets in the editor. (I can't access the game right now, or I'd check if that's possible.) Otherwise, we'll have to get creative. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (Talk) 21:18, 13 March 2015 (CET)

The game's assets seem to be packed away in an "assets" file that is different from the '.crp.' extension used when you create custom assets. So, opening the original decorations in the editor is beyond me, but I can confirm that when creating a new asset you have control over everything (size, electricity consumption, water consumption etc.) including Entertainment Accumulation and Entertainment Radius. If someone could find out how to load the game's default parks into the editor it should give us all the numbers we could dream of. Would be useful for just about every single aspect of the game. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (Talk) 11:05, 16 March 2015‎‎ (CET)
When you create a new asset you need to select "Building" instead of "Park". All default parks are listed there under the park tab. I added Entertainment accumulation and radius to the list from there. --Ukuku (talk) 14:23, 16 March 2015 (CET)

Idk know how to achieve that too, but it seems the default of a new one is not recommended. Leaving all the tourist inputs to 50 will eat up al the commercial needs in the game if the custom parks are used regularly. Seconds thing, if you plant enough trees, it will be come a resource on the map. Overwriting the original resources on that spot. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (Talk) 06:00, 18 March 2015 (CET)

Yay pages![edit]

So I just made a ton of pages. Try to keep the formatting between all the decorations consistent please.

All of the DLC decorations need ingame screenshots and descriptions. You can find the descriptions by selecting the building. I do not own the DLC and I don't have a pirated version. If you do take screenshots, just name them as the name of the building with the .PNG file extension and the page will automatically find the image. For example if you upload, "Dog Park," name it "Dog_Park.png" or "Dog Park.png" and the page will update accordingly. I think some of the pages are using some icons already on the wiki but I'm not sure why to be honest. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lillysky (Talk) 22:36, 3 April 2015‎ (CEST)

Could you please be more specific when you say "DLC"? As far as I know there are no DLCs released yet. There's one announced with tunnels and european buildings, but it's not here yet. I have the deluxe edition and I haven't seen these buildings in-game. Any hints on how to get them? --Wilku (talk) 13:11, 4 April 2015 (CEST)
Did some research and I think you meant pre-order, not DLC. I will make the necesarry edits if you don't mind.--Wilku (talk) 13:19, 4 April 2015 (CEST)
Yeah thanks for clarifying! I wasn't sure what to call that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lillysky (Talk) 23:07, 4 April 2015 (CEST)

Tennis Court[edit]

Added the Tennis Court from the European update, but for some reason I can't open it in asset editor. So if someone knows how, please tell me, and add the remaing information. It should also have a picture that matches the rest, but I don't know how the others where made.JonasAnd (talk) 22:58, 12 August 2015 (CEST)

Canals and Quays?[edit]

I am looking for the Canals and Quays in the Decoration menu, but I can't find them. Are they located on somewhere else?

--Meesmoth (talk) 03:13, 14 October 2016 (CEST)

They're in the landscaping section, a shovel tool further to the right along the main UI. Dauth (talk) 12:17, 16 October 2016 (CEST)

There are no longer referenced by the name "decorations" in-game. The category is "Landscaping and Disasters". The individual tabs in this category are currently:

  • Landscaping Tools
  • Paths
  • Trees
  • Rocks
  • Water Structures
  • Disasters
